How it works, supported formats and file limits
Trim, compress or convert audio. You can also extract sound from a video.
Cut out the bit you want
Drag the circles to select a clip. Click the waveform to listen anywhere; Play previews your selection. Add fades for a softer start or end.
Convert WAV or M4A to MP3
Choose a format and compression setting, or a size target where supported. Converting to WAV won't restore lost quality.
Getting started
- Open your audio file or a video with sound.
- Choose the part to keep, listen back and set the format and quality.
- Export and download the finished clip.
Formats and limits
- Export MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, OGG, Opus, AIFF or WMA. You can also open sound from supported videos.
- Open up to 1 GB on desktop or 200 MB on mobile, with a maximum duration of 2 hours.
- Exports are capped at 300 MB. Compression options depend on the output format.
