How it works, supported formats and file limits
Compress, trim or convert a video in your browser. Large files take longer.
Compress an MP4
Lower the quality or set a target size in MB where supported. For a smaller file, shorten the clip or reduce its resolution. Lower quality loses detail.
Trim a clip or convert MOV to MP4
Set the start and end, preview the clip and choose an output format. Crop, resize and speed controls are available too.
Getting started
- Choose your video and let it open.
- Trim what you need, then pick a format and compression settings.
- Export, check the result and download your video.
Formats and limits
- Open MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI and other supported video formats. Choose from 12 export formats.
- Up to 1 GB on desktop (experimental), or 500 MB on mobile. Videos must be no longer than 20 minutes and no larger than 4K.
- Exports are capped at 150 MB. Large files may exceed your device's available memory.
